Elon Musk has launched an artificial intelligence startup that will be \u201cpro-humanity\u201d, as he said the world needed to worry about the prospect of a \u201cterminator future\u201d in order to avoid the most apocalyptic AI scenarios.<\/p>\n

Musk said xAI would seek to build a system that would be safe because it was \u201cmaximally curious\u201d about humanity rather than having moral guidelines programmed into it.<\/p>\n
