The Fire Max 11 is Amazon\u2019s first premium tablet and is designed to look and feel more like an iPad at half the cost. But while the appearance of the new machine is a step up, it falls far short of expectations when it is turned on.<\/p>\n

The new tablet starts at \u00a3249.99, undercutting Apple\u2019s cheapest iPad<\/a> by more than \u00a3100 and just half of the price of the 10.9in model<\/a>.<\/p>\n
