Chief executive of platform rebranded as X seeking to reverse advertiser boycott since Elon Musk takeover<\/p>\n

The chief executive of X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, has moved to repair the company\u2019s relationship with advertisers by reinstating a \u201cclient council\u201d for marketing and ad agency executives.<\/p>\n

Linda Yaccarino wrote on the platform on Thursday that it was \u201cofficially bringing back the client council in the fall\u201d, as the business seeks to reverse an advertiser boycott that has hit revenues since it was bought by Elon Musk for $44bn last year. Musk admitted last month that cashflow was still negative amid a 50% slump in advertising revenues.<\/p>\n
