Britain and its allies face a \u201cmoment of reckoning\u201d in which secure encryption and other future technologies may no longer be \u201cshaped and controlled by the west\u201d, according to the head of the spy agency GCHQ.<\/p>\n

In a speech on Friday, Jeremy Fleming will say the UK has to \u201cdevelop sovereign technologies\u201d and work with allies to \u201cbuild better cyberdefences\u201d to prosper in the future.<\/p>\n
