\u201cThe neighbourhood was made famous by the Brazilian bossa nova song Garota de Ipanema<\/em>, or The Girl from Ipanema. Despite the district being expensive and elitist, the beach is frequented by people of all classes from around the world: tourists and locals; rich people and humble people,\u201d Brodbeck says. \u201cIt makes for a\u00a0crowded beach, as can be seen in the picture.\u201d<\/p>\n
