US president said Russia \u2018has some responsibility\u2019 to deal with ransomware attacks while pipeline shut since Friday<\/p>\n

Joe Biden said on Monday that \u201cso far\u201d there has been no evidence that the cyber-attack late last week on a US pipeline had any involvement from the Russian state \u2013 but Biden did say Russia \u201chas some responsibility\u201d to deal with ransomware attacks emanating from its soil.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a criminal act, obviously. We have efforts under way with the FBI and DoJ to disrupt and prosecute ransomware criminals,\u201d the US president said.<\/p>\n
