US tech startup says committee will advise on \u2018critical safety and security decisions\u2019<\/p>\n

OpenAI<\/a> says it is setting up a safety and security committee and has begun training a new AI model to supplant the GPT-4 system that underpins its ChatGPT<\/a> chatbot.<\/p>\n

The San Francisco startup said in a blogpost on Tuesday that the committee will advise the full board on \u201ccritical safety and security decisions\u201d for its projects and operations.<\/p>\n
