The case could have far-reaching implications for Google\u2019s primary source of revenue as well as the tech industry and online publishers.<\/p>\n<p>The long-awaited trial is the second major US antitrust suit against Google, after the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/article\/2024\/aug\/06\/google-antitrust-monopoly-ruling\">lost a landmark case last month<\/a> that determined the company illegally monopolized the online search industry.
