The thrust of these teams\u2019 work is to ensure that Facebook and Instagram users do not encounter hate speech, pornography and violent content.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO said moving the moderators to the Lone Star state \u201cwill help remove the concern that biased employees are overly censoring content\u201d. It was part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/about.fb.com\/news\/2025\/01\/meta-more-speech-fewer-mistakes\/\">larger announcement<\/a> that Meta was ending its factchecking program, easing content restrictions and focusing on \u201cfree expression\u201d.
