The store, known for its devotion to natural ingredients and support for social justice causes, didn\u2019t seem like the obvious partner for a major video game franchise. Because of this, I thought I should <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/games\/2023\/mar\/28\/super-mario-lush-soaps\">try them out<\/a>, assuming that my dalliance with beauty journalism would be short-lived.<\/p>\n<p>I was wrong. The collection was so successful, Lush later released a Minecraft range, which I <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/games\/article\/2024\/aug\/13\/want-to-smell-like-the-ender-dragon-we-test-the-lush-minecraft-range\">also reviewed<\/a>, and now there\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lush.com\/uk\/en\/c\/super-mario-bros\">Super Mario Galaxy range<\/a> to tie in with the new movie. Somehow, I have become the Guardian\u2019s Lush correspondent and it seems I am now trapped in a sweet-smelling cycle of video game-branded toiletries.
