Donald Trump has asserted his relationship with the UK is \u201cmore up\u201d with Andy Burnham than under Keir Starmer despite tensions between the two countries on a range of thorny issues including regulation of artificial intelligence, the Chagos islands and the war in Iran.<\/p>\n

At their first face-to-face meeting, the US president praised Burnham, who sat nervously alongside him, as a \u201cnatural businessperson\u201d, saying he thought he had \u201clots of assets on his side\u201d and would be a \u201cgreat\u201d prime minister.<\/p>\n
