Sam Altman says he believes the world should accept \u201cbad things\u201d happening with AI in exchange for the benefits of the technology.<\/p>\n

The chief executive of OpenAI cited hacks, scams and \u201cother bad things that will happen\u201d in an interview that sparked an instant backlash from critics of the big AI companies. His comments came after one of his company\u2019s safety experts resigned<\/a>, saying at the weekend that its \u201cculture is broken\u201d.<\/p>\n
