We have become obsessed with the idea that screens are destroying human connection.<\/p>\n

The evidence seems to be everywhere. Each week headlines warn of teenagers addicted to phones<\/a>, a loneliness<\/a> epidemic<\/a> and the dangers<\/a> of AI<\/a>. The release of The Social Reckoning<\/a> has leads us to ask, \u201cHow bad were<\/em> those guys at Meta?\u201d and then ultimately wonder, \u201cHow bad am I<\/em> if I still use Instagram?\u201d In our day-to-day, we observe workers eating lunch alone while scrolling and friends choosing online games over offline gatherings.<\/p>\n
