Investors were paying close attention to Tesla\u2019s third-quarter earnings call on Wednesday afternoon, after chief executive Elon Musk floated the idea of merging the car company with his rocket and AI company, SpaceX. But they didn\u2019t glean further information after the company announced there would be no questions on the matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith regard to a potential merger with SpaceX, I think I said everything that should be said yesterday,\u201d Musk, the CEO of both companies, said on Tesla\u2019s earnings call. He repeated a phrase he said on Tuesday: \u201cI feel like I\u2019m tap dancing through a minefield.\u201d<\/p>\n
