Amazon\u2019s key UK business paid just \u00a33.8m more corporation tax last year than in 2019, even as sales increased by \u00a31.89bn.<\/p>\n

Accounts filed at Companies House this week show that the corporation tax contribution of Amazon UK Services \u2013 the group\u2019s warehouse and logistics operation, thought to employ the majority of the group\u2019s UK workforce \u2013 was \u00a318.3m in the year to December 2020, up 26% from \u00a314.5m a year before.<\/p>\n
