More recently, he travelled to Spain on Zen, his luxury yacht, and was last week seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/billionaire-alibaba-founder-jack-ma-touring-dutch-research-institutes-scmp-2021-10-27\/\">touring Dutch research institutes<\/a> to \u201cpursue his interests in agriculture technology\u201d, according to the South China Morning Post, the paper he owns.<\/p>\n<p>Ma\u2019s reappearance is low-key, but is, nonetheless, significant. It reminds us of his place in the company he founded and in today\u2019s tech scene in China. On the day his trip to Europe was reported the company\u2019s share price went up by 9% in Hong Kong.
