They will bust through a wall, or reach the summit of a steep hillside, and then, spread out before them as far as the eye can see, will be fields of the most glorious orange flowers. These are Mexican marigolds, or <em>cempas\u00fachil<\/em>, which are closely associated with the country\u2019s D\u00eda de los Muertos festival. It is believed their vibrant colour and heady scent help to guide the spirits of the dead back to their graves and altars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you look at the flowers you can see the individual petals,\u201d laughs the game\u2019s art director Don Arceta. \u201cWe love doing farmland \u2013 it\u2019s a real opportunity to show the native agriculture that makes each landscape unique. This is the first Horizon game in a while that doesn\u2019t have canola growing everywhere.
