The billionaire \u2013 who until he was recently overtaken by Tesla\u2019s Elon Musk was the world\u2019s richest person \u2013 will this summer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2021\/feb\/02\/jeff-bezos-amazon-ceo-resigns-steps-down\">pass the reins to top lieutenant Andy Jassy<\/a> and Bezos will become executive chairman.<\/p>\n<p>Few employees in the sphere conservatories at Amazon\u2019s sprawling Seattle campus headquarters reckon Bezos will relinquish much of his iron grip on the company\u2019s day-to-day decision making.
