But as you\u2019d expect from a tech multibillionaire, his eyes are on a potentially bigger prize: outer space. Bezos will be<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2021\/feb\/03\/what-will-amazon-founder-jeff-bezos-do-next\" title=\"\"> dedicating more time to a space race<\/a> between entrepreneur rivals that hopes to push the frontiers of society \u2013 and commerce \u2013 beyond planet Earth.<\/p>\n<p>Having completed its 14th mission last month \u2013 successfully carrying a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/science\/2021\/jan\/22\/spacewatch-bezos-blue-origin-really-close-flying-humans\" title=\"\">dummy, \u201cMannequin Skywalker\u201d<\/a>, into space \u2013 Bezos\u2019s space company, Blue Origin, believes relatively cheap travel for humans is not far off. That would finally deliver a return on the $1bn (\u00a3730bn) of Amazon stock Bezos has to sell annually to fund it.
