There are only two products: a \u201ccolor\u201d for $5.99 and a \u201cparty pigeon\u201d for $420.69.<\/p>\n<p>I was here to spend some of the Guardian\u2019s money on an NFT, or non-fungible token. NFTs are based on a blockchain feature called the \u201csmart contract,\u201d which is kind of like a virtual vending machine. Send some of your crypto to a smart contract, and it\u2019ll print a unique token \u2013 basically a digital receipt \u2013 that says you now own this cat pic. Anyone else can still right-click-save and share Mr. Whiskers, but you\u2019ll know, and anyone else looking at the blockchain will know, that the image is yours.
