One of the bar flies there once said to me, \u201cThe internet! What good has it done for anyone?\u201d At the time I thought, what an idiot \u2013 what about the mass sharing of information, or connecting with distant relatives? But the longer I think about what he said, honestly, the more right he is. Nine out of 10 people just use the internet to send fart recordings to their mates.
