Former UK-based vice-president Bruce Daisley thinks Tesla boss has underestimated the complexity of his restructuring plans<\/p>\n

Elon Musk \u201cdoesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s doing\u201d with Twitter and is \u201cmaking everyone alarmed\u201d, a former executive has said, after major brands paused their advertising spend on the platform and the company laid off thousands of staff<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bruce Daisley, Twitter\u2019s vice-president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa from 2015 to 2020, said he was devastated by the undemocratic changes at Twitter and would leave the platform with \u201cno hesitation\u201d if there was a good alternative.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Elon thought he was going to come in and solve everything and very quickly he\u2019s going to work out that it\u2019s far more complicated,\u201d he told podcast The News Agents<\/em> this weekend. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty evident from every public action that he\u2019s taken with this whole acquisition: he doesn\u2019t know what he\u2019s doing.\u201d<\/p>\n
