The United Nations is \u201cvery disturbed\u201d by Twitter\u2019s abrupt and arbitrary suspension of a group of US journalists<\/a>, a spokesperson has said, warning that the move sets a \u201cdangerous precedent\u201d \u2013 as the EU said the social media platform could face penalties over the decision.<\/p>\n

St\u00e9phane Dujarric said on Friday the UN was \u201cvery disturbed\u201d by the barring of prominent tech reporters at news organisations including CNN<\/a>, the Washington Post<\/a> and the New York Times<\/a> who have written about Musk and the tech company he owns.<\/p>\n
